About Regis Foster

Based in Port Jervis, New York, Regis Foster possesses extensive experience in educational administration and special education. Regis Foster earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary social studies education at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he obtained master’s degrees in educational administration and special education from the same institution. Mr. Foster holds a New York permanent education certification in school district administration, social studies 7 to 12, and special education N to 12. From 2003 to 2023, he served as a special education social studies teacher at Port Jervis High School, overseeing education for students with diverse needs. He took on leadership roles, serving as the Port Jervis Teachers’ Association Union President from 2011 to 2017. In addition, Mr. Foster has also contributed to summer school education programs, serving as secondary and elementary school principal. His responsibilities included coordinating educational activities, managing staff, and implementing effective programs to support student learning.
